The Changes in the DR

This was published on April 24, 2024 in the Listín Diario. Supposedly, it shows the changes of the DR presumably with the PRM in charge.

The few I will mention are (left 2005 - 2012, right 2021 - 2023):

- Foreign Direct Investments: 24.6% of GDP to 32% of GDP.​

- Economic Growth: 5.5% to 6.5%.​

- Poverty (includes extreme poverty): 42.2% to 27.1%.​

- Malnutrition: 15% to 6.3%.​

- Homes with electricity 20-24 hours: 47.7% (2013 - 2019) to 82.5%.​

- PISA Average Results (education): 336.5 (2013 - 2019) to 350.​

- Homicides per 100,000 people: 24.3 to 11.6.​

- Injured due to a gunshot per 100,000 people: 32.7 (2013 - 2019) to 25.6.​

- Political Stability: 44.3 to 55.4.​

- Government Effectiveness: 32.2 to 51.​

- Rule of Law: 28.5 to 49.8.​

- Corruption Controls: 23.9 to 34.1.​
