I would think many who in general order online, having at least 4 shipments monthly is perhaps not that much. It's certainly not a lot for us. I will make d*mn sure that next time we order clothing, that is the fourth package. Only have to plan a bit strategically so that the packages arrive in the right order to Miami...You're right, JD, the price is going up. I wonder if the other couriers will be increasing soon also. For those who have enough orders to take advantage of this 4th package free, it's a nice offer.
According to the e-mail you attached, this began on 1 April, and is based on arrival date in Miami. Your package arrived in Miami before the 1st, so that's why you didn't get the true "free shipping." Or am I wrong on that?I got a 12.5 lb package today. It was my 4th and free shipping. It was 2 pesos a lb. cheaper.
I received an email (and a whatsapp) from them telling me my Free Shipping package was being delivered so I'm guessing it was covered.According to the e-mail you attached, this began on 1 April, and is based on arrival date in Miami. Why only 2 pesos cheaper? I thought it was free?I got a 12.5 lb package today. It was my 4th and free shipping. It was 2 pesos a lb. cheaper.
Yep, that was my point. Why only 2 pesos cheaper? I thought it was free?
It looks like the offer stats this month.Yep, that was my point.
I'll check their math on my next package over 3 lbs.
Correct. It started on the 1st, but I guess they grandfathered my package in.It looks like the offer stats this month.
I have always had a laugh at the item categorization, which I have now seen that BMCargo and Domex do the exact same manner.I received these two packages yesterday. I used my "Domi Puntos", which were applied to the two-pound package, otherwise that one would have cost 584 pesos, or an average of 292 pesos per pound. I've never figured out the "Garantia Basica", it's not based on package weight.
Done to avoid taxes.I have always had a laugh at the item categorization, which I have now seen that BMCargo and Domex do the exact same manner.
From your screenshot, I'm sure it's a very official manner to call any item "cosas de la casa"... I assume it has been due to the weight and form of the package, but recently, all the car parts we have ordered, have either been "accessorios" o "ropa"... The fogging oil I ordered last year was also "cosas de la casa"... I have never understood what purpose do these labels serve, if any? Or are they for customs?
Actually, I typed that in on my "pre-alerta." The invoice gave more details, but my description was pretty accurate. A few weeks ago my niece sent me an item in a small paperboard envelope from USPS...no pre-alerta since I had no invoice, and Domex categorized it as "ropa!" So, who knows?I have always had a laugh at the item categorization, which I have now seen that BMCargo and Domex do the exact same manner.
