You should see the ones Lindsey Kauffman has had painted for Jamao, maybe she’ll post some photos.
We did this two times with different slogans. It helped with trash around town, but sadly, with the street dogs kicking over the barrels looking for their booty and the trash collectors slinging them onto the truck to empty the trash, the paint jobs were badly damaged. Such love was put into the work to paint these barrels and such a shame that their work was damaged by dogs and garbage men.
My apologies for the slightly off-topic post for the thread, the work you guys have done is absolutely amazing but for the garbage men, I have never understood the need to throw the bins... You don't win any time nor save energy by doing that... Back in the day, we wanted to do things right and purchased two garbage bins with lids, both were destroyed by the very same garbage collectors...
