In a move aimed at boosting foreign investment and generating more jobs for Dominicans, the Ministry of Foreign Relations (Mirex) and the Center for Export and Investment of the Dominican Republic (ProDominicana) have agreed to streamline the issuing and renewing investment residency visas, as well as business visas for work purposes.
Under the agreement, investors will be able to submit their applications through the Virtual Single Investment Window of the Dominican Republic (VUIRD). This online platform aims to become an efficient tool for receiving the necessary documentation and will provide personalized follow-up from ProDominicana throughout the entire process.
